Purple Marine ceased trading unexpectedly on Thursday 25 September and we currently have no chandlery facility at the club. We hope the closure will be kept to as short a time as possible and as soon as we have any news regarding when the shop will re-open it will be posted here. Please watch this space. if you have any queries in the meantime please contact the office.

What a fantastic weekend -very little wind on Saturday but plenty of fun - perfect conditions on the Sunday. Race training, improved boat control, good support from fantastic coaches both on and off the water. All of this has been possible because of the help from the parents of the 40 or so youngsters who attended.
Remember junior sailing will continue all through the winter on Sundays - Friday nights start again next year. Remember to book your boats with the guys at the sailing school for your Sunday sessions.

Rutland SC Sailor and Rutland Times Sportsman of the year, Richard Stenhouse, is ISAF Musto Skiff World Champion for the second year running. This time he is not alone, Tom Wright, also from Rutland SC won the Musto Skiff Youth Worlds..
